Audits

Compliance audits verify the accuracy of reported data on electrical equipment, batteries and accumulators, packaging, and non-packaged products, as well as manufacturers’ compliance with their contractual obligations.

Auditing firms

Based on the contractual relationship between the producer responsibility organization ASEKOL SK and registered producers, compliance audits are conducted on producers participating in the system. The purpose of the audits is to verify the accuracy and completeness of the information provided regarding the quantities of electrical equipment, batteries and accumulators, packaging, and non-packaging products reported in the statements, and to verify compliance with other obligations arising from the contract.

Confidentiality and Professional Secrecy in Audits

Audit firms are bound by confidentiality and are required to treat all information obtained during the audit as strictly confidential, in accordance with the law and the contract concluded with OZV ASEKOL SK. Auditors provide OZV ASEKOL SK only with a summary report on the audit, which includes any discrepancies identified in the reported quantities, along with a quantification of the financial differences, as well as deficiencies related to other obligations, such as those regarding consumer information.
