Foreign producer of EEE means any natural or legal person / authorised businessman, who is based outside the Slovak Republic and sells electrical
and / or electronic equipment by means of distance communication directly to consumers in the Slovak Republic.
Distance producer of EEE means any natural or legal person / authorised businessman, who is based in the Slovak Republic and sells electrical and / or electronic equipment by means of distance communication directly to consumers
in another country.
If a distributor makes an EEE available on the market, which is originated from a non-registered producer, the distributor is considered to be the producer
and should assume the obligations of the producer.they supply electrical equipment directly to the consumer from a producer who is not registered in the Register of Electrical Equipment Producers.

EEE that complies with the RoHS Directive must be marked as follows:

All EEE and BaA must be marked with the graphic symbol of a crossed-out waste bin, which indicating separate collection. The symbol must be printed visibly, legibly and indelibly.

Electrical equipment
Through its compliance scheme, ASEKOL SK provides for compliance with all of producers’ take-back and separate collection obligations.
Since January 1, 2016, the manufacturer has been obliged, when selling electrical equipment, to state on its packaging, label, or on a tax or other similar document issued at the time of sale, the amount of the recycling fee intended to cover the costs of collection, transport, and processing of waste electrical equipment from households originating from such electrical equipment. The amount of the recycling fee must not exceed the best estimate of the actual costs, and the manufacturer must not use the recycling fee revenue in conflict with its purpose.
