ASEKOL SK is part of the international EVEN CLOSER project

ASEKOL SK has become part of the international EVEN CLOSER project, which brings together 44 partners from across Europe with the aim of supporting the development of the circular economy, more efficient use of secondary raw materials, and strengthening the European value chain in the field of microelectronics and semiconductor manufacturing.

The project primarily focuses on the recovery and reuse of valuable and critical raw materials from electronic waste. Its objective is to create new partnerships between companies, research organisations, and expert institutions across Europe, support innovation, and develop sustainable solutions that will help reduce Europe’s dependence on primary raw materials.

An important part of the EVEN CLOSER project is also connecting less developed regions with technologically advanced partners, sharing expertise, and creating opportunities for international cooperation in the areas of recycling, material processing, and the circular economy.

Within Slovakia and the Czech Republic, ASEKOL SK is part of a consortium together with Cyrkl and Circular Slovakia. Together, the partners will participate in activities supporting the development of circular solutions and the more efficient use of materials originating from electronic waste.

Participation in the EVEN CLOSER project represents another step forward for ASEKOL SK in the development of international cooperation and at the same time confirms the company’s long-term commitment to supporting environmentally responsible solutions in the collection, processing, and recycling of electronic waste.
