ECO company

Maintaining a positive work environment helps boost employee morale, focus, and productivity. The ECO Company project offers businesses a simple way to contribute to environmental protection while improving the work atmosphere in their own facilities.

Employees spend nearly a quarter of their lives at work—which is why the workplace environment is an important part of their daily lives. By joining the ECO Company project, you’ll support healthier working conditions, raise environmental awareness, and contribute to the company’s overall responsible operations.

Our priority is to encourage all participating companies to reduce their negative impact on the environment and improve their environmental practices as part of their daily operations.

The main objectives of the project are:

• reducing the environmental footprint of offices and workplaces,
• raising employee awareness of the need for proper collection and recycling of waste from packaging, non-packaging products, electronic waste, batteries, and rechargeable batteries.

The project is suitable for both large and small companies.

How can you get involved?

1. Send us an email at ekologickafirma@asekol.sk and let us know that you’re interested in participating in the ECO Company project.
2. We’ll send you a short form where you can provide basic information about your company—its name and the number of employees.
3. Once we receive the form, we’ll send you all the necessary materials, and you can start training your team!

How does it work?

1. Educational material for employees – We’ll provide you with a presentation explaining the basics of sorting packaging, electronic waste, and used batteries. Simply forward it to your employees or share it via internal communication channels.
2. Quiz as a final activity – At the end of the presentation, there is a short online quiz to test employees’ knowledge of the presentation’s content.
3. Contest with a prize – Everyone who completes the quiz is automatically entered into a drawing for “Look – Sort!” socks from the FUSAKLE brand. Two employees will win (the number of winners can be adjusted based on the company’s size and number of employees).
4. ECO Company Certificate – If at least two employees participate in the quiz, the company automatically receives an ECO Company certificate valid for 2 years.

By participating in the ECO Company project, you contribute to environmental protection and the efficient conservation of natural resources. By taking this step, you demonstrate your social and environmental responsibility. As a participating company, you will receive:

• The “ECO COMPANY” social responsibility certificate
  
• The right to use the ECO Company logo in your communications

You can place the logo on your company’s website, in informational and promotional materials, in your email signature, and elsewhere, thereby further promoting your environmental image.
